Can the release tension be adjusted?

Yes. The mechanism tension can be adjusted within a range of 5 to 10 using the screw located on the mechanism lever (rear part of the pedal), with a 2.5 mm hex key. This adjustment allows you to adapt the force required to clip in and clip out according to your practice and preferences. A low setting (5) makes release easier for more comfort and safety in technical conditions. A high setting (10) ensures maximum retention for intense efforts and accelerations.

Good to know: X-Venture range pedals are delivered with the minimum tension setting (5). We recommend keeping this setting during your first rides to get familiar with the mechanism, then gradually increasing the tension according to your needs.
